Crossroads Enterprise, Inc. is deeply committed to caring for the environment and
continually strives to improve its environmentally responsible policies. As American
and world demand continues to grow for environmentally friendly cabinet products,
Crossroads prepares to meet those demands with leading-edge cabinet options and
environmentally sound manufacturing practices. In addition, Crossroads appreciates
the challenges inherent in evaluating and selecting products or product components
that have the least detrimental and/or most beneficial impact on the environment.
Crossroads has developed an extensive association with the community of home improvement
professionals, many of whom have extensive knowledge and experience to assist a
client in an environmentally sound evaluation process.
Our Sustainability Vision
Crossroads takes a holistic approach to the environment with a focus on sustainable
and responsible products & services; and extending the life of the cabinet investment.
Crossroads is continuously evaluating methods and processes to reduce and eliminate
material waste and other non-value added activities during the manufacturing process
that negatively impact our environment.
Crossroads takes raw materials from the earth, makes products, and eventually sends
any waste back to overflowing landfills. Crossroads, in its manufacturing processes,
works to reduce materials sent to the landfill, by collecting excessive material
that would otherwise be considered waste. Crossroads then determines the most effective,
economical and sustainable process for those materials - i.e. recycling, upcycling,
downcycling or repurposing.
Crossroads continues to strengthen it’s committed by making ongoing improvements
with every key attribute that makes a cabinet “green” beginning with social responsibility
and recycled content to extending the product life cycle with design and environmentally
friendly installation techniques.

CARB Compliance Statement (California,
US)
Crossroads proudly meets or exceeds the stringent California Air Resources Board
(CARB) emissions limits for levels of urea formaldehyde that went into effect on
January 1, 2009. These compliance levels are the strictest in the nation and are
designed to drastically reduce the amount of off-gassing of formaldehyde over time
within the home. In addition to manufacturing with third party certified materials,
Crossroads takes additional steps to mitigate the amount of volatile organic compounds
(VOCs) that can off-gas over time by edge banding all panels used in construction,
whether visible or concealed. Although the new CARB regulation pertains only to
products used in California, Crossroads has adopted this standard for all products
we manufacture and distribute worldwide.
